With Atlanta, New York, and Cincinnati all losing, the Philadelphia Phillies (72-72) once again, blow a chance to gain ground in the National League pennant and the Wild Card Race.

Odubel Herrera once again boosted the Philadelphia team to an early lead with his home run to lead off the first inning.

The Cubs (66-79) another team that Philadelphia should dominate, battled back when the kid named Wisdom went yard to tie the Chicago record for homers in a season. Which he should break in this season.

One again, in an efoort to save his pitchers “for the off-season”. which clearly means phoning in their tee-time, Joe “Captain Hook”, Girardi spent his bullpen with starter, Kyle Gibson starting and the usual cast of rag arms, following suit.
