Phils Come Back

The Phils come back against the New York Mets, 5-3. Luis Rojas shot himself in the foot and pulled Jacob DeGrom after 6 scoreless inning and 77 pitches. A five-run Phillies 8th inning was the difference in this one.

It’s normally the Phillies bullpen that implodes, but on this night, the tables were turned. Bryce Harper kicked off a 5 run 8th inning when he got plunked with the bases juiced. JT Realmuto singled for a second run. Mets throwing error on an Alec Bohm ground ball plated two more before Didi Gregorius added a fifth run on a SAC fly.
