PLL Playoff Action

The PLL had their playoffs begin with a trio of games.

Kyle Jackson posted a four goal. two helper game to lead the Chaos to a 13-9 defeat of the Archers. Grant Ament led the Archers with his 2 goals and three assists.

The Atlas outlasted the Cannons by a 15-9 score that was led by a 7 point game from Eric Law (3g,4a) aided by Jeff Teat and his 3 goals with a helper. Trevor Baptiste went 17 of 24 with a dozen ground balls from the “X” with JD Colarusso stopping 14 shots.

Reigning PLL MVP, Matt Rambo showed exactly why he has that moniker and provided the game winner with just :55 on the clock to propel the Whipsnakes to a 14-13 victory over the Redwoods.

Zed Williams (with four one point goals, a two pointer and three assists led a comeboack that had the Whipsnakes facing a five goal deficit.

September 5 will pit the Whipsnakes against the Waterdogs and Chaos tackling Atlas.The games will be in the Philadelphai area,

Kevin has followed and promoted the game of lacrosse since May 19, 1974.
The same day the Philadelphia Flyers won the Cup, the Philadelphia Wings were introduced to Neibauer and Philadelphia.

Kevin has covered many sports, including baseball, football, basketball, and.. lacrosse. A former licensed football referee and baseball umpire, Kevin brings a unique insight to his game coverage.

A published writer in JustHockey Magazine, Kevin covered the American Hockey League as well as a monthly story on a pugilist where Kevin used the pen name, The Rink Rat. Neibauer turned his attentions to lacrosse for a few years and does his part, whether podcasting or writing to grow the game. Kevin branched out to his roots and currently provides insight for all Philadelphia teams for Edge of Philly as well as his full-time duties with LaxPhilly.
