Sabers Double Up Flyers

On Steve Coates’s night in Philadelphia. The Buffalo Sabers came to town with their season on the line. And beat the Philadelphia Flyers 6 to 3 last night at the Wells Fargo Center. Buffalo entered the contest with playoff aspirations while the Flyers were continuing to play out the string.

The Game

The Flyers get on the board first at 16:35 of the first period. Morgan Frost with the goal assist by Brendan Lemieux  7 and Wade Allison 6

But with nine seconds left to go in the first period. Kyle Okposo scored his 11th goal to tie the game at 1:00. That’s how we would enter the first intermission

The second period would be all Buffalo Sabers. They scored four times in the period. The Flyers turned the puck over several times leading to Buffalo goals and 125 of the second period

 Alex Tuch scored his first goal with 33 assists Casey Mittelstadt’s 37

 240 of the second period Jordan Greenway scores his fifth goal of the season assistant by Tyson Jost 17 and Rasmus Darwin 53

At 3:46 of the second period. Jeff Skinner scores his 33rd goal of the season with the assist of Owen power’s 27, and Casey Mttelstadt’s 38

At 1602 of the second period Alex Tuch scores his 34th goal assisted by Jeff Skinner 40 and Caset Mittelstadt 39

At 1624 of the second period Morgan Frost scores his second goal of the game with the assist of Joel Farabee 22 and Travis Sanheim 15. End of period two.

 The Flyers get on the board early in the third period with a goal from the returning Travis Konecny  28 assisted by Noah Cates 23rd at 16:33 of the 3rd period, Alex Tuch 35 scored his third goal of the game shorthanded goal which  puts the game away for the sabers

Summary

The Flyer’s defense let them down in this game too many odd chances for the Buffalo Sabers and at the end of the day you just can’t give up them any chances to that good of a team.
