Sixers Add Shooting, Restart Schedule

The Philadelphia 76ers added some shooting on Friday by signing former Dallas Maverick, Ryan Broekhoff. I see the sharpshooter headlines everywhere but let’s not get ahead of ourselves as Ryan was just waived in February. He is 29 years old, played in 59 NBA games, and though he shoots 40.3% career from three-point land only averages 4 points per game. His field goal percentage is also down to 37.3 during the current season.

I definitely think it is worth taking a shot on him but he still has plenty to compete with to see significant minutes on the floor. Hopefully, he shoots the lights out and spreads the floor.

Also, the restart schedule is out with the Sixers opening up on Saturday, August 1st at 7 PM vs the Indiana Pacers. They will also have 4 nationally televised games and a fairly easy schedule with the opponents combined winning percentage .554 per Paul Hudrick.

8-0 Right?
