Sixers Win a Statement Game

The Philadelphia 76ers (20-7) went into TD Garden to battle the (17-8) Boston Celtics in a key NBA Eastern Conference game.

Joel Embiid put up a double-double with 38 points, 13 rebound game that Tobias added 23 points to lead the Philly boys to a big 115-109 overheated rival, the Boston Celtics.

Philadelphia went 50|50 to seal the deal with a 41 of 82 on field goals and 14 of 28 from long range.

Kemba Walker put down 29 points in defeat. Boston managed only 35 rebounds while Philly nabbed 45…

The Boston shooting was less than stellar with a 42 of 91 from the field and a disappointing 11 of 31 from three-point land.
