Sixers with Big Test Against Pheonix

Sixers with a big test against Pheonix. After Monday Nights loss to the Warriors where Steph Curry put up 49 points in 37 minutes of play, the Sixers are looking to bounce back against a Suns team who edged out the Bucks on the same night 128 to 127. Tonight’s matchup between the # 1 team and #2 team in their respective conference should be a good one. Without a doubt, the Sixers have a big test tonight against Pheonix who is without power forward Abdel Nader. With Simmons and Harris, both questionable but likely to play the 76ers will lean heavily on their MVP candidate Joel Embiid. This is the heavyweight battle that we are all waiting for. Deandre Ayton is playing the best basketball of his young career right now, and he’ll have his hands full going against one of the top centers in the association.

The Sixers look to continue their dominance at home while the Suns look to continue their dominance over the Sixers. Sixers having a big test tonight against Pheonix is an understatement they need to show up and show out tonight. I am looking at 1 Suns player who has owned the Sixers as of late. That’s non-other than Suns shooting guard Devin Booker. Based on his track record against Philly, this game could be exactly what the doctor ordered to get Booker out of this mini-slump he’s been the past few games from the field. As mentioned above, Booker’s splits against Philadelphia are insane, so let’s hope he can continue his success against them.

Devin Booker’s career splits against Philadelphia (11 games):

29.7 PPG (1st), 4.5 APG, 4.4 RPG, 62 TS%, 48% 3PFG (1st).

Needless to say, if Simmons and Harris play and Booker continues to unload on the Sixers this could be a battle for the ages. Also do not forget about crafty veteran Chris Paul. Paul always seems to fly under the radar but is super solid every season. After Monday night’s game against the Bucks CP3 now ranks 5th on the all-time assists leaderboard in NBA history. Look for him to be his reliable self tonight as always. While this is obviously not a playoff game it certainly has that playoff vibe. The Sixers with a big test against Pheonix will have to bring their A-game to walk off the floor tonight with the W. Sixers with a big test against Pheonix.
