St. Joseph’s Swooped Down on the Penn Quakers,87-81

It’s almost impossible to consider and Big 5 game in Philadelphia as being an upset.

The St. Joe’s Hawks (4-14) made the 30 minutes to the historic Palestra on the Campus of the University of Pennsylvania for a Saturday afternoon matchup against the Ivy League, Penn Quakers (7-7) in a game the Hawks gutted out.

The Hawks were led by Cameron Brandon’s 17 points and complimented by the game leader, Ryan Daly who drained a 30 point contest.

Penn played tough until the end before falling short and receiving 14 points from Ryan Betley and a dozen from Jordan Dingle.
