The goalie match-up had Brett Dobson in net for Georgia facing Matt Vinc in net for the Bandits.

A defensive struggle in the first half saw end to end action with big plays by each team’s defense.  Shayne Jackson led the Swarm with two goals, while the Bandits were led by two power-play goals from Chase Fraser.  The Swarm took a slim 4-3 lead to the dressing room at the half.

Although Buffalo took the lead early in the fourth, a pair from Lyle Thompson, as well as Shayne Jackson’s fourth of the night, and Andrew Kew pushed the Swarm past the Bandits 9-8.  Brett Dobson was sensational in the Swarm net stopping 45 of 53 shots.
