Freshman, Mason Madsen was the difference-maker in this contest. Draining free throws in the waning seconds to signal the difference. The Bearcat’s big weapons, Keith Williams and Tari Eason were forced to the bench with foul trouble so Madsen was front and center to steal the game and the spotlight.

The Bearcats offense went cold in the latter stages but had enough in the tank to grind it out. Mika Adams contributed a 12 point game to pace the home team.
