The Tulane Green Wave (10-6) visited the City of Brotherly Love and the Liacouras Center to take on the Temple Owls (9-6) in Saturday DI basketball.
Tulane led almost the way and ended the first half with an eleven-point edge, 35-24 en route to an easy 65-51 victory.
Temple came in having best the Wave in 9 of their last 10 matchups and Tulane had dropped 4 of its last five.
So much for trends.
K.J. Lawson picked up a double-double for Tulane with 18 points and 10 boards.
Teshaun Hightower and Jordan Walker added 17 point games to pace the victory.
Quinton Rose threw down 12 points for Temple.
Three-pointers doomed the Owls who could only manage 5 of 24 while Tulane was slightly better with a 9 of 25.
Tulane posted 8 of 12 from the line with Temple nailing 12 of 18.
The Green Wave lost the rebound battle, 38-34.
