Temple gets to .500. The Temple Owls prevailed in a matinee at the Liacouras Center on a Tuesday afternoon against Tulsa, 76-67.

Tulsa (8-6) did their best to battle back against a 44-25 deficit against the hometown Temple Owls (4-4). Khalif Battle led Temple with a double-double on a 22 point, 11 rebound affair. De’Vondre Perry added 17 and the Owls held Tulsa to a 22 of 55 from the field.

Rey Oduwu led Tulsa with 20 points accompanied by Elijah Joiner who put up 15 and another 12 from Brandon Rachal set the Tulsa pace.

Temple was 25 for 49 from the field with 7 of 18 from three point land. The Owls were locked in from the line with a 19 of 26.
