In the common scenario, the Cincinnati Bearcats (4-7) came into the Liacouras Center to challenge the hometown, Temple Owls (4-6) Coming off a 25-day layoff, due to what else? The Bearcats pulled off a final-minute 63-60 victory on Thursday evening.

Jeremiah Davenport (14 points) and Keith Williams (15 points) each nailed a jumper in the waning moments to boost the Bearcats. The affair marked the first time Cincinnati ended the half for the first time this season, 31-23.
Temple battled back and received a 16 point game from Damian Dunn and 13 from Jeremiah Williams. Bearcat, David DeJulius knocked down a career-high 26 points.
The adversity that they’ve gone through here in the last month, I don’t think people really have any idea,” Brannen said. “This is so strange. To be able to describe it is very, very difficult.”
