Temple Starts New Month on Winning Note

The Temple Owls (11-10)  had been reeling and in the midst of a four game losing streak.

Welcome to Philadelphia, East Carolina University (9-13) and Temple greeted them with a streak breaking 76-64 victory.

The Owls started off white hot and built up a 26-10 advantage by the 10:43 mark of the first half.

At that point, Temple went cold and closed the half trailing ECU by a score of 32-30.

The home team were able to battle back and were boosted with 10 for 25 from long distance.

That would prove to be the difference as ECU was a dismal 4 of 17.

The Owls held Conference points leader, Jayden Gardner to a season low 11 points.

JP Moorman II picked up his first double double of the season with 14 points and 10 boards for Temple.

Quinton Rose nailed 20 points with Nate Pierre-Lewis and Aloni Moore II each supplying 14 more.

Tremont Robinson – White led ECU with a 22 point game.
