The Philadelphia Flyers coming off huge back-to-back wins against cross-state rivals. The Pittsburgh Penguins. Where Sean Couturier would be the difference maker with back-to-back overtime goal winners. Now this Flyers team starts a three-game road trip. Starting in Glendale Arizona. Meanwhile, the Arizona Coyotes have won 4 straight games at home making the desert a tough place to play. They put away teams like The Washington Capitols, St. Louis Blues, Tampa Lighting, and the Colorado Avalanche. Both Flyers and Coyotes have been playing extremely well in recent games. However, it would be the Philadelphia Flyers that would stand tall in this one.
TK Have It Your Way
Travis Konceny was just being a playmaker on the ice. He records two goals on the night. Halfway through the first period. Travis Konceny from the face-off circle when he quickly snipes one to the back of the net. Setting the tone of the game. His second goal was right at the beginning of the second period. Travis Koncney forces a turnover then jets with the puck in the opposite direction and lasers one in the net. I love how the offense was consistently putting pressure on their defense and creating offensive plays. good puck-moving and decision-making. The Flyers would win this game 4-1
Carter Hart on Fire
Carter Hart was remarkable throughout this game, he made some incredible saves. The one big play that stands out to me was when one of the Arizona Coyotes players intercepted a puck and took a shot at Carter Hart what looked to be an open net and he made a huge save by sliding from one side of the net to the other. Carter Hart stopped 25 out of 26 goals. In Carter Harts’s last two appearances, he’s stopped 57 goals and only allowed two to go in. It’s thrilling that he and Sam Errson have become a one-two punch between the pipes.
