The Devils Score a Touchdown on the Flyers

After getting embarrassed by the Montreal Canadiens 5-2 at home, the Flyers head to North Jersey to face the Devils. And for the first 20 minutes of play, the Flyers did just that. After that, the New Jersey Devils score a touchdown on the Flyers.

To The Action

In the 1st period both teams played great defense, and neither team couldn’t get anything going offensively. The Flyers and Devils are looking to get creative on offense, but both goalies played very well.

The 2nd period is where things got ugly for the Flyers. Jonas Siegenthaler finds a way to light the lamp. Siegenthaler shoots the puck through a tight window, through two Flyer defenders, and finds the back of the net. The Devils cause a lot of turnovers for the Flyers, chalking it up in the neutral zone. Jack Hughes and Dawson Mercer left wide open and beat Sam Errson, going up 3-0.

The bleeding does not stop for the Flyers in the third period. Nico Hisshier, with a quick snipe shot, starts it off in the third. Then Dougie Hamilton finds the back of the net for the Devils. Jack Huges was cooking the Flyers’ defense, then finds Jesper Bratt for a goal. Too put a nail in the coffin. Nathan Bastian through traffic banks one in.  The Devils score a touchdown on the Flyers and shout them out.
