The Hawks Go Down in A-Town!

The Hawks return to the comfortable confines of the State Farm Arena hoping for home-court advantage. They soon realized it would take more than a home-court advantage to stave off the 76ers who showed up in full force tonight. The Hawks go down in A-Town thanks to Seth Curry continuing to remain hot from 3 while. The Process himself continues to dominate with an almost double double dropping 27 points with 9 rbs and 8 assts. Ben Simmons showed up on the scoreboard tonight in a much bigger way than his game 2, 4 points.

Sixers too much for Hawks down the stretch

The Hawks had a few runs to make things interesting but were not able to close the gap on the Sixers. The one thing that can make a 76ers fan cringe immediately, happened several times tonight and that was Embiid hitting the floor. The Sixers were in a bit more foul trouble than they are accustomed to but did not let that changed the outcome going in their favor. Matisse Thybulle fouled out on a call that Doc Rivers challenged and lost. His earlier the desired exit however didn’t have much if any effect on the rest of the game.

In the end, the Sixers were too much for this Hawks team even though they did receive more than solid games from their big three Bogdanovic, Young, and Collins. However, it wasn’t enough especially with the support they received from their bench tonight and The Hawks Go Down in A-Town. Young and the Hawks will go back to the drawing board to try to figure out what they need to do to tie this series on Monday.
