The Way Too Early Overreaction. Flyers started their regular season in South Philly last night versus the Vancouver Canucks at the Wells Fargo Center.
The first period ended with the Flyers up 1-0. The second period is where everything started to fall apart especially for Carter Hart in front of the net. 4-2 Vancouver heading into the Third. The period was a bit of a dud until 2:21 and 1:12 left in regulation where the Flyers scored 2 to tie the game and head into OT.
Overtime came and went with both teams coming up empty. The Canucks eventually won the game in the shootout, 5-4.
Carter Hart started strong. Then, looked a bit lost in the second. To ultimately, finish the third looking how he started. Although it was only game 1 of 82. The boobirds are always lurking to continue to kick while one of our own was down even if only for a moment (or 2nd period).
