These Two Teams Do Not Like One Another

This is your typical Philly vs. New York, “Clash of the Titans” kinda battle. Two teams that do not like one another. Philadelphia Wings facing Albany FireWolves.

1st Quarter

FireWolves and Wings playing solid defense up until the end of the quarter. Ethan Walker would beat the man-to-man coverage, and he would find the back of the net.

2nd Quarter

Blaze Riorden finds Taite Cattoni, and he capitalizes on the power play goal. Joe Resetarits with the offense setting the screen in front of him. He makes a goal. Brett Manney would take a two on one then find Jake Fox wide open, which would help the FireWolves on the scoreboard. However, Blaze Riorden would do what he does best and bulldozes through the FireWolves’ defense.

FireWolves would make their third trip to the plenty box. Ben Mclntosh would score his 9th power-play goal. Connor Kelly would get the FireWolves’ first power-play goal. Joe Resetarits makes a goal with traffic in front of him. Sam LeClair would make a diving goal to keep the Wings at arm’s length

3rd Quarter

Fight breaks out between Chad Tutton and Brent Mitchell. The FireWolves would go on the powerplay, and Ethan Walker finds Marshal Powless behind the net to make a wrap-around goal. Jake Fox takes advantage of the odd-man rush and takes the ball to the net to tie up the game. The FireWovles’ good ball movement threw the Wings’ defense off their game. Thomas Vaesen makes a pretty goal.

John Piatelli made a nice crisp goal. The Wings look to have some tired legs out there on defense. Ben Mclntosh finds Joe Resetartis open, and he makes a low wrist goal. It’s  9-9  going into overtime!

Ethan Walker is all alone, and Taite Cattoni breaks up the breakaway. Connor Kelly goes for a layup goal, and Zach Higgins makes an incredible save.
