Time to move on from JT. Unfortunately, it looks like Phillies will be officially moving on from JT Realmuto.
This should be no surprise to anyone. Did you know that John Middleton often reaches in his pocket to feel nothing but his own leg. That he struggles to put food on the table. Only to bring home a can of spam to cook on the hot plate and divide between his family. Just kidding, John is a Billionaire. Who has little to no intention of spending any of it to bring a winning team back to Philly.
Am I exaggerating a bit, Sure, but hear me out. Remarks recently from Middleton claims that the team lost close to 2 BILLION Dollars due to Covid-19 financial losses. However, a person in the know of the Phillies and their finances report losses at around $145 million. Sounds to me, Johnny Boy did a bit of exaggerating himself.
Johnny Drama Queen also went on to say that the team currently is not in a position to resign JT OR ANY OTHER TOP FREE AGENT this offseason. That means no Trevor Bauer. No George Springer. Kiss Didi Gregorius goodbye. We will be lucky enough to come out with even a slight upgrade to our bullpen.
I’m absolutely positively sure this is NOT what Bryce Harper or our Skip Joe Girardi signed up for.
