Top 5 Wide Receivers NOT named DeVonta Smith or Ja’Marr Chase

Unbelievably enough, the Eagles have to be in the market to add yet another Wideout. Could come from Free Agency, however, without any money at the moment. This year’s Draft is more of a realistic option. Here are my top Top 5 Wide Receivers NOT named DeVonta Smith or Ja’Marr Chase.

1. Rashod Bateman – Minnesota
2. Terrace Marshall – LSU
3. Jaylen Waddle – Alabama
4. Amon-Ra St. Brown – USC
5. Amari Rodgers – Clemson

Rashod Bateman (6’2″ 210lbs) – Bateman only played in 5 games in the shortened 2020 season. Deciding after a Covid outbreak at Minnesota, Bateman decided to move his sights on the 2021 NFL Draft.

2020 Stats: 36 Rec / 472 Yds / 2 TD
Collegiate Career: 147 Rec / 2395 Yds / 19 TD

Projected: 1st Round

Terrace Marshall (6’3″ 200lbs) – Wait, there is another Wide Receiver coming out of LSU? Yeah and he is flying completely under the radar. Marshall had a very solid 2020 season. Stepping up in place of Ja’Marr Chase who decided to sit out the season due to covid.

2020 Stats:  48 Rec /  731 Yds / 10 TD
Collegiate Career: 106 Rec / 1594 Yds / 23 TD

Projected: 1st / 2nd Round

Jaylen Waddle (5’10” 182lbs) – Mel Kiper mocked Waddle to the Eagles at #6. Yeah, you read that right. There is no shot of that actually happening. The early second round, sure. Having the first name Jaylen is the most this guy has going for himself when it comes to the Eagles having peak interest.

2020 Stats: 28 Rec / 591 Yds / 4 TD
Collegiate Career: 106 Rec / 1999 Yds / 17 TD

Projected: 1st / 2nd Round

Eagles could add talent in the later rounds

Amon-Ra St. Brown (6’1″ 195lbs) – once upon a time, the Eagles drafted another Receiver from USC. You may remember him as Nelson Agholor. I think the sting has officially worn off and could be time to take another chance on a Cali product.

2020 Stats: 41 Rec / 478 Yds / 7 TD
Collegiate Career: 178 Rec /  2270Yds / 16 TD

Projected: 3rd / 4th Round

Amari Rodgers ( 5’10” 210lbs)– Rodgers had a breakout season officially putting himself on the map. Rodgers could be a steal in the mid to later rounds of the draft.

2020 Stats: 77 Rec / 1020 Yds / 7 TD
Collegiate Career: 181 Rec / 2144 Yds / 15 TD

Projected: 4th / 5th Round

The Eagles need more talent at Wideout any one of these options would receive a warm welcome. Let’s just hope Howie knows what he is doing this time. It’s doubtful.
