Tyrese Maxey Dropping 50 for the First Time

Indiana Pacers come into South Philly after having a massive win over the Milwaukee Bucks this past Wednesday. Tyrese Haliburton dropped 29 points on Wednesday and 25 points on Thursday. He played exceptionally well, leading the game in assists. However, he was matched with another Tyrese. Tyrese Maxey was on fire tonight, dropping 50 points. He was amazing! Joel Embiid is setting screens for Tyreese Maxey. What a wonderful concept for the Philadelphia 76ers.

Tyrese Maxey unloaded threes. He went 7-11 from three-point land. Maxey hits a nice pull-back jumper from the perimeter. He is fearless with the basketball, driving the ball to the rim. The last 76er to drop 50 points in a game was Allen Iverson back on 12/23/2005. Tyrese Maxey led the 76ers to their 8th straight win.

Joel Embiid’s Is Too Much to Defend

Joel Embiid, Emzilla, or Embeast, whatever you want to call him. All I know is he’s one tough customer trying to defend. The Indiana Pacers couldn’t have an answer for trying to stop the big man. When it looked like they had an answer by putting double coverages on, Joel Embiid would dish the rock out to whoever was open. Joel Embiid had a game himself. Dropping 37 points, he leads the game with 13 rebounds, eight offensive and five defensive boards. Joel Embiid is getting back to his MVP form.

Playing for One Another

Unfortunately, The 76ers would go into battle without the newest addition. Kelly Oubre Jr was struck by a car this past Saturday night. Fe suffered broken ribs and other injuries. The Philadelphia 76ers rose as a united and did a fantastic job playing for their teammate Kelly Oubre Jr. Kelly Obure Jr. was a spark to this team, no doubt it. He played very well, being a catch-and-shoot kinda of player. We’re praying for a speedy recovery.
