Tyrese Maxey Take Over Game

It was a slow start for the Philadelphia 76ers. Starters in this game are guys like Tyrese Maxey, who couldn’t get things going offensively in the first two-quarters of basketball. The second half was a completely different story. He put up 24 points and hit a couple of back three-pointers. He also got very creative with taking the basketball to the rim. The one play that sticks out to me is when a Cleveland Cavalier defender covered Tyrese Maxey. Tyrese Maxey made a one-hand floater while leaning. I thought that was very impressive by the 76ers all-star.

Cameron Payne Off The Bench And Making A Huge Impact

Nick Nurse (The 76er’s head coach) would see that Philly struggled to get things going, and he would then go to his bench. Cameron Payne made a big difference in the first half. Cameron Payne would drop four three-pointers; Cameron Payne did a fantastic job of getting open on the perimeter. Also, I need to credit Paul Reed for grabbing 12 rebounds in this game. He also had some lovely jumpers in this one as well. In the second half of this game, Tyrese Maxey and Tobias Harris would get into a rhythm of offensive production. Let’s see if this momentum can carry over when another formidable Eastern Conference contender comes to town.

Jarred Allen Goes Off In The Paint

Without Joel Embiid in the paint, Cleveland Cavaliers big man Jarred Allen has plenty of opportunities for production. Jarred Allen had nine defensive rebounds and 24 points. He was one tough customer for Philly to deal with. He was causing havoc in the paint, he was tough trying to defend against, Cleveland now loss their second straight game, they head to Washington DC hopping to get Donovan Mitchell back into the lineup.
