McGregor vs. Cerrone #UFC246 WOW!

Conor “The Notorious” McGregor v Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone

I’ve been waiting on this for awhile and honestly, I can’t pick a winner. Cowboy is always reliable for a great throw down and Conor just simply can’t be matched when it comes to bringing fireworks anytime he fights. This contest will be fought at Welterweight (170 lbs).

This is the first time since McGregor and Diaz headlined a card in 2016 that a belt wasn’t on the line for the Main Event. Coincidentally, that is also the year in which McGregor earned his last MMA win against Eddie Alvarez, to become the Lightweight Champion. He is looking to get back in the win column to receive another shot at reclaiming the Lightweight Belt against the winner of Khabib v Tony Ferguson. Whether it’s merited or not is for another article.

Cowboy is also looking to rebound after coming off losses against Tony Ferguson & Justin Gaethje, both TKOs. This is Cowboy’s first ever time headlining a PPV and is looking to capitalize.

Keys for the fight;

McGregor: His left hand. He will be firing it often as he’ll look to get another KO in the 1st Round.

Cowboy: Use his kicks and keep his distance. Cowboy has stated that he’s going to stand and bang with McGregor, which could end his night quickly and violently.

Let’s hope for a 5 Round war because the overall winner of this fight, is the Fans.
