Wichita State Wins Battle Against the Birds

Wichita State wins battle against the birds, 70-67. The 11-4 Wichita State Shockers held on to get the best of the 4-7 Temple Owls in Sunday action. The teams squared at the Charles Koch Arena and battled to the end.

Four Shockers went into double digits to balance their scoring. Tyson Etienne led their parade with a 20 point outburst. Trey Wade added 12 with Morris Udeze chipping in 11 and Dexter Dennis added another 10 to aid in the Shocker’s 11th victory.

Temple was not as fortunate but were paced by Damian Dunn with a game high 22 and Jake Forrester throwing down 11.
