Wildcats thunder back in 96-64 victory. The #5 Villanova Wildcats stormed to a 96-64 victory in their home barn over the Marquette Golden Eagles on Wednesday evening.
Total domination was the story in this contest with the Wildcats enjoying a huge night from Jeremiah Robinson- Earl who poured in a career-high 25 points based on a 10-11 from the field.

Robinson-Earl also cemented 5 treys and secured 8 rebounds. Collin Gillespie helped with a double double with 16 points and 11 boards. Jermaine Samuels stepped up with 14 points.
For Marquette, Dawson Garcia was the man… draining 28 points with assistance from 13 from D.J. Canton. It was the first of five consecutive road games for Marquette who have now dropped 5 of their last 6 contests.
Villanova has now been victorious in 10 of their last 11 match ups. A 12-2 lead run between the halves was the game deciding factor. A 56 point second half didn’t hurt the Wildcats cause.
