Wildfire Down On The Ice

The Philadelphia Flyers faced off against The Minnesota Wild. The Philadelphia Flyers coming off a tough loss on the road against the Vegas Golden Knights. The Flyers played the Stanley Cup champions very tough, putting the Golden Knights on the ropes. Minnesota Wild came into South Philly with a little momentum after beating the Edmonton Oilers 7-4. A wildfire broke out down on the ice.

The Philadelphia Flyers unleashed some high-quality offense and took liberties with the Minnesota Wild. Nick Seeler makes a back pass to Travis Konceny, and Travis Konceny makes a top-shelf goal. Travis Koneny records his 6th goal of the season. Travis Sanheim makes a pass to Cam Atkinson. Cam Atkinson makes the shot on net, even though the puck didn’t go in. Veteran player Sean Couturier picks up the loose change around the net and makes a goal. It’s one of the little grey areas of the Flyers. Not scoring off of the power play.

Last night, the Flyers made two power-play goals. Dakota Mermis and Marcus of the Minnesota Wild would make two back-to-back goals in the third period. Just when things looked too ugly for the Flyers. Kirill Kaprizov (Minnesota Wild, Left winger) looked like he was about to generate a play when Cam Atkinson stripped him of the puck. Atkinson takes it the other way and finds teammate Owen Tippett on a breakaway. Owen Tippett would snipe it in. Travis Sanheim makes a great goal to put the icing on the cake. Gotta hand John Tortorella and the Flyers coaching staff credit. They have all 4 lines clicking on all cyders. Rocking and rolling

The Diamond in the rough?

The Philadelphia Flyers have found their diamond in the rough. Bobby Brink, with the small, simple size, has made a huge impact. Bobby Brink brings a lot of speed, tenacity, accuracy, and a spark to the Flyers offense. He puts a lot of opposing defenses on their heels. Last night, rookie Bobby Brink recorded his first pair of goals. While Sean Couturier was drawing the Wild defense. Sean Couturier makes a pass to Bobby Brink, who handles the dirty work. He’s second goal. Joel Farabee and Bobby Brink take advantage of the 2-1 situation. Making things difficult for the Wild’s goalie, Filip Gustavsson, as Joel Farabee makes a pass to Bobby Brink. and Bobby Brink would make a back-door goal.

In A Zone

Carter Hart has been playing extremely well; tonight was just another day at the office. He stopped 26 out of 28 goals. Hart is taking one game at a time and letting the game come to him. Reading what the opposing offense wants to do with the puck. Flyers are playing red hot offensively, but don’t overlook the man between the pipes. The Wild brought a lot of offensive pressure, but only allowing two goals is pretty good. This Flyers all around has been soiled.
